I have the pleasure today of spending time with Meredith O'Reilly, author of Daddy's Little Sweetheart. She's one of the talented writers who got together to create Little Haven, a box set featuring all new age play stories by five of your favorite authors.

"Claire.”
I turned my head to see daddy at the doorway of my room.
“I’m… sorry, daddy. G-give me a f-few minutes and then y-you can punish me,” I said, turning back and giving my elephant another squeeze. I knew that I deserved a spanking for what I’d done. He had always instilled manners in me, no matter if I was little or an adult. But sometimes it was hard to act polite when all you wanted to do was scream. Still, screaming in a public place was definitely not polite.
“Oh, Claire. What am I ever going to do with you?” I heard him ask before he picked me up and placed me in his lap.
I was not expecting that. I thought that he would punish me right away, but I wasn’t going to miss a chance for a cuddle.
“I’m sorry, daddy!” I sobbed into his shirt as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He was warm and I felt safe. The sound of his heartbeat was soothing.
“Oh, baby girl. Can you stop crying, sweetie, so we can talk about this?” he asked, wiping the tears from my eyes.
“There’s nothing… to talk about.” I hiccupped, starting to calm down.
“Yes, there is. For starters, why don’t you tell me what caused your tantrum? You rarely, if ever, throw them. So something must have been really bothering you.”
I wasn’t sure what I should tell him. If I told him the truth, he might think that I wasn’t able to handle basic regular adult things and then he could start making me act littler more often. But if I lied to him, he’d undoubtedly know… he always knew when I was lying to him.
“Claire… I’m waiting,” he said, tapping my thigh. It wasn’t a hard swat, just enough to force me back to reality.

Meredith's Bio
Meredith O’Reilly is a rather new author. She still can’t believe that she has had three stories published. As of right now, she is currently only writing age play stories, however she is trying to branch out and find another genre of stories to write for.
In her spare time, Meredith goes to school, watches a little too much Netflix, and experiments with learning how to cook new things in the kitchen. Mostly she tries to balance her life between school work and author work. That’s a task that is easier said than done, most times.
