My favorite Sci-fi erotica author Sue Lyndon is joining me today. She's talking about Owning His Bride, her romance that's been on the top of Amazons's Sci-fi erotica list, including over a month in the number one spot!
Kallista: How many books have you written, Sue? Are they all spanking fiction?
Sue: Between all my pen names... oh gosh, almost seventy! Wow, I didn’t realize it was that many, but to be fair many of my titles are short stories, and not all are spanking fiction. More recently I’ve delved into sweeter “vanilla” sci fi romance under the name Sue Mercury.
Kallista: Owning His Bride is such a hot story! What was your favorite part to write?
Sue: Ohhh definitely the medical exam scene. Poor Becca couldn’t leave the prison without passing the required exam, so she was very reluctant to cooperate, and her reluctance and embarrassment made that scene quite enjoyable to write.
Lucky for all of us, Sue's brought along a super hot snippet from that very scene:
Becca was relieved to have that awful, big speculum out of her. Her face felt like it was flaming red, she felt so flushed and embarrassed. Now all that stood between her and the chapel was an orgasm. She gulped and peeked open one eye, sensing the doctor had moved away.
She met Hunter’s stare and her heart almost stopped. His intense gaze seared her, and she started trembling anew. Was he angry? Was she not cooperating enough with the doctor? She was trying her best, so why did he look like he was about to explode?
Hot tears gathered in her eyes, and she blinked a few times before deciding to close her eyes. Perhaps he was angry she had become so shamefully aroused during her examination. He
was to be her husband, and here she was becoming wet and excited while another man touched her. She couldn’t help it. Somehow the deep embarrassment of having to spread her legs and allow a stranger to inspect her while another stranger watched did scandalous things to her body.
Perhaps her arousal was a coping mechanism. Whatever the cause of her shameful reactions, she
couldn’t help it, no matter how much she tried to turn her brain off, it didn’t work.
Fear panged in her heart. Would Officer Makin make her suffer for her transgressions today? Would he beat her savagely? Add more scars to the fronts of her thighs?
At the thought of her scars, she suddenly worried he found the markings ugly and would decide at the last minute to send her back to her lonely cell. There were thousands of women in this prison, many prettier than her and without a single blemish on their body.
The doctor rolled around on his stool, coming between her legs again. He held a strange wandlike object in his hand with a large spherical head. He pressed a button and it buzzed to life, and she cried out the moment it grazed her privates. Sensation exploded and she tried to shut her legs, but Hunter shot to her side and forced her to remain spread for the doctor.
“Keep your legs open wide, Becca. I would hate to have to punish you again, right before you come.”
Owning His Bride
After enduring the first two years of a life sentence for a crime she didn’t commit, there is one thing Becca fears more than spending the rest of her days behind bars. When their five year terms of service on the frozen prison planet of Kemmius are up, guards are allowed to choose a bride from among the prisoners, and the warden himself has set his sights on her.
Hunter has hated the warden from the moment he met him, and he’ll be damned if he is going to let the vile man have a sweet, beautiful girl like Becca. Not when his own term as a guard is almost up and he’ll have the chance to claim her first and make her his own.
Following a thorough, humiliating medical exam—standard procedure to ensure a potential bride’s suitability as a mate—Becca finds herself bound to Hunter forever as both his wife and his property. While her new husband quickly proves to be nothing like the cruel warden, he is still a man who expects to be obeyed, and she soon learns that defiance will be dealt with firmly.
Though she is left blushing each time Hunter bares her bottom for a sound spanking—and sometimes for other, more intimate punishments—what truly shames Becca is the way her body responds to his dominance. But even as her feelings for Hunter grow stronger and her future seems brighter than it has in many years, Becca cannot help wondering if she will ever truly be free of the chains of the past.
